My vl turbo commodore
This is my VL commodore. I havent run the quarter with the new setup yet. Should be racing some time in the future. Spec sheet is below. I took the car down to the Nats, we had a few problems, fine tuning the car as a result i wasn't able to compete in the HP heroes. We had to change the shifter back to standard after a few dramas as well. On the way down we got caught in a storm which blew the moulds off the front windscreens and cracked part of the scoop on the bonnett. Other than that it was a really good weekend, a few mates won tropheys, partied hard and had a ball.Will be back next year for sure with quite a few new mods!

Engine: RB30et turbo block, rebuilt bottom end (rebuilt to standard specs)
Head: ported and polished, heavy duty springs, valves etc all ceramic coated, turbo grind crow cam, vernier gear
Plenum: custom

Throttle body: Ford 65mm throttle body
microtech computer
manifiold has been ceramic coated, 45mm external wastegate (turbosmart PRO-GATE)
Injectors: 600inj
Exhaust: 3inch mandrel bend, 4 inch dimp pipe, hi flow cat etc
Turbo: Garrett T04 hi flowed turbo, ceramic coated internals
Intercooler: Big front mount intercooler
Gearbox: Beefed and modified Jatco, 4spd with 2600 stally
Shifter: B&M Star Shifter
Wheels: 17 x 7, 17 x 8 billet custom made rims (sprayed in 2k silver) Falken rubber
Suspension: Selby's set up
Body mods: Custom bonnet, one piece moulded scoop, with XR8 cat scratch.
Interior: Retrimmed, grey with silver inserts (changes colour in light), back seats pumped, custom door trims
